This property outside of Springboro was purchased by a real estate company knowing that there was an overpopulation of cats living inside and outside of the house. The company had no idea they would find more than 40 cats living throughout the structure, requiring interior demolition down to the studs. Thankfully their concern for the cats was a priority and construction was temporally halted after the cats were removed and the structure was secured. They then began working to find options for the cats.

SICSA, up in Dayton, responded and helped with a number of kittens. Efforts to secure additional help in the region were unsuccessful. Word got to Cincinnati Cats and we reached out to our long time partner SPCA Cincinnati. SPCA has taken in a good number of cats and is continuing to help adoptable cats.

We need to quickly find homes or options for every cat on site before it is necessary for construction to resume.
